Private Property is once again sponsoring Win a Home - South Africa's favourite interior design reality TV show. You could be the lucky winner of a luxury home on an upmarket estate

Enter Win A Home here, and you could win a beautiful home in Val de Vie estate.

Every weekday between 4pm and 5pm, from Monday 16th May 2016, a part of Afternoon Express is dedicated to the drama and high-design, of Win a Home, Season 3.

Three design contestants have 10 weeks to turn three, white-box apartments, into luxurious homes in Val De Vie estate. The design contestants are mentored by three of the country’s biggest design and decor magazines, who are guiding them on their design journey.

One of the contestants is Juané Venter, a 25 year old freelance photographer who is a candidate architect at WAUW architects in Cape Town. She has a passion for lifestyle, fashion and architecture photography, and focuses her design work on people as the most important factor.

Rudolph Jordaan, a Western Cape regional representative of the African Institute of Interior Design Professions (IID), as well as freelance lecturer and designer is the next contestant. Rudolph’s passion for interior design is rooted in the drive to make a difference, particularly with regards to disability and universal design.

The next contestant, Minenhle Ntuli, has been an Architectural Technologist for 2 years, which has been the foundation for his career and the impetus to his passions – graphic design, photography, art and fashion. The primary focus on his designs is expression.

Every two weeks the designers will present a completed space, which will be judged by a panel of design and property experts. They also need to impress the Win a Home and Afternoon Express viewers, who are able to vote for their favourite designs and designer. They are competing to win the Judges’ Choice Prize of a coveted internship with the global design studio ARRCC, which includes mentoring by the renowned Stefan Antoni, along with a R50 000 cash prize.

By the end of the season, one lucky viewer will win their choice of one of the brilliantly designed Polo Village apartments on the prestigious lifestyle estate of Val De Vie. The grand prize is situated in the Cape Winelands and worth over R3 million.
