Property Buyer Show 2018 Cape Town | Kingfisher Estate and Gordons Bay

Private Property chats to Johan Botma, Property Consultant at Cape Coastal Homes, who share's everything there is to know about life in Gordons Bay and living on Kingfisher Estate.

Marc:

I'm here with Johan from CCH. And, Johan, tell me something. I've had a look at this Kingfisher estate that you guys are going on at Gordon's Bay. Tell me more about Gordon's Bay, and in terms of what the sort of lifestyle is like in Gordon's Bay?

Johan:

Gordon's Bay was one of those beautiful situated places with lots of atmosphere. Foreigners love it, to go to Gordon's Bay. This particular one, Kingfisher, is in the heart of Gordon's Bay. So, it's about a one kilometer from the beachfront. The main thing about this complex is it's a solid security complex. So, the buildings out of maxi bricks, bricks. It's superior with security-wise around, and real with high-quality finishing’s.

Marc:

Awesome. Awesome.

Johan:

And the profile of people that already bought into the place, excellent profile. High profile. So we try to filter that, as well.

Marc:

So you curate the buyers?

Johan:

Yeah, yeah.

Marc:

That's fantastic. Great.

Johan:

And it's already bought around about the whole place. So I think it's a nice setting, as well. So a kilometer from the beach. Gordon's Bay is a place where they didn't allow high buildings. That is so funny. So the maximum that you can go is three stories.

Marc:

Oh, really?

Johan:

Yeah. Yeah, yeah. So there's an atmosphere,

Marc:

It's preserving the landscape.

Johan:

Exactly. So there's a lot of restaurants close to the beach, and that makes it a perfect city. You can see the whole base. The wind strong there, but it's also close because it cleans the air.
