Welcome to Du Plessis Hofmeyr Malan Attorneys (“DHM”)

DHM Inc was established in 2011 by Johan du Plessis (former co-founder of Du Plessis & Hofmeyr), Carel Hofmeyr (son of Jan Hofmeyr, co-founder of Du Plessis & Hofmeyr) and Nikki Malan.

We specialise in the field of Land Law which in short includes amongst others land use matters, conveyancing, property development in general, environmental matters, heritage applications and appeals and administrative law. We assist developers and individuals alike and operate from our offices in Somerset West, although we frequently travel to meet our clients in other areas.

In the field of Conveyancing we pride ourselves therein that we give regular feedback to our clients, we take the necessary care to research each case thoroughly in order for us to avoid nasty surprises at lodgement, we are trustworthy, thorough, friendly and efficient and will gladly attend to our client’s office or home for the signing of documents or otherwise.

In addition to our property development department, we provide services in the following non-exhaustive fields, Estate Planning and Administration, Trust registration and Administration, Home Owners’ Associations and Sectional Title living.

Our dynamic practice offers a comprehensive range of legal services in the Western Cape and beyond, tailored to meet our clients’ needs. We are proficient in English, Afrikaans and German and are equipped with the latest technology to assist us in providing our clients with fast, efficient and cost-effective service.
