Picturesque Getaway Farm. This tranquil Karoo life-style farm is situated 56km north west of the historic town of Graaff-Reinet at the foothills of the sometimes snow-capped Sneeuberg Mountain Range.
The farm boasts an expansive homestead built during the 1950s wool boom. The vegetation comprises mainly of mixed grassveld with dwarf karoo shrub and succulents. Only cattle have been farmed on this property for the last 15 years and as a result the veld is in a very good condition. The farm is divided into 3 camps with the water supplied by a windmill, solar pump and natural springs. Three water courses fed by the surrounding mountains traverse through the property.
Naturally occurring springbuck, kudu and steenbok add to the ambience of this farm.
