This 506,3517 ha property is situated in the Addo district

In the Zuurberg area.

The R335 is a Regional Route in South Africa that connects Nelson Mandela Bay in the south to Somerset East to the north via Addo.

It was originally constructed by Henry Fancourt White in 1849, but White resigned during the construction phase to take up a post in parliament, leaving the project in the capable hands of the assistant roads engineer, Mr. Matthew Woodifield, whose name appears carved into a rock slab near the southern end of the pass.

On the northern side was Ann''s Villa built in 1864 to accommodate travellers.

On top the pass is the Zuurberg Inn The Zuurberg Manor is the original part of the hotel dating back to 1861 for travellers from Johannesburg to Port Elizabeth .It is still in use .

Vygeboom is situated in one of highest grazing capacities in that area namely 5 ha per Large Stock Unit

This property can easily maintain a herd of 70 head of cattle or more.

Good sourveld with high rainfall and themeda triandra veld with great views and tranquillity to release the tensions of modern living . Close by are many game lodges ,the Addo Elephant park The luxury Barefoot Elephant lodge is close by in the Krom River Valley
