Veld types - The farm is ecologically diverse consisting of semi karoo sweet veld interspersed with acacia
Game species - The farm is mostly game fenced (+- 3585ha). Species found include: Giraffe (12), Gemsbok (3), Sable (8), Eland (7), Kudu (+- 50), Nyala (+- 12), Springbuck (+- 150), Red Hartebeest (4), Impala (+- 60), Mountain Reedbuck (4), Ostrich (8), Warthog, Duiker and Steenbok.
Improvements - The main house has 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms (plus guest toilet), a separate lounge, open plan dining room and kitchen with separate pantry & scullery area. This house was recently renovated & there are 6 aircons & 3 braais (1 indoors). There is also a pool plus a 90 000lt underground water tank. As an exclusively small stock farm, the price to reward ratio does not really work all that well. Add in the game and lifestyle aspect though and it suddenly starts to make perfect sense. The area is very safe and private, as well as being very healthy. The property has an alarm and security camera system for peace of mind. The farm is easily managed due to the well-developed infrastructure as well as the minimal parasite load and a number of the surrounding farmers have previously developed high value game projects for this reason. The farm can conservatively carry 1000 ewes alongside the game but the farmer is currently only running 600 ewes with followers. The topography is varied enough to be very interesting, but remains accessible and as a combined lifestyle/wild life/livestock venture its a superb property.
