Description
The terrain consists mainly of hills, valleys, cliffs and deep drainage lines which form seasonal streams at times i.e. very rocky ground with sparse grass/fynbos vegetation. There are beautiful gorges to hike but the terrain is steep so a certain level of fitness or a relaxed pace are mandatory. The northern part of the farm is a totally undisturbed series of ravines that can be hiked with huge cliffs to either side with cycads growing from the cliff faces and steep sided slopes.
Veld types
Mainly fynbos with lots of proteas, pin cushions, sugerbush, a multitude of flowers, honeybush tea, various succulents, King Proteas, cycads and so on.

The farm falls in a predominately winter rainfall area, with an annual average of approximately 450mm/annum.
Game species
Lots of indigenous bird life as well as small numbers of klipspringer, duiker, mountain reedbuck, bushpig and cape mountain leopard (occasionally move through as they have an enormous home range).

There are no buildings to speak of as yet.
Fencing: fencing is in a fair to poor state and the farm is only partially fenced. The terrain doesnt really lend itself to farming as its better suited as a getaway so there isnt really a need to fence.
Safety: not easy to access by foot due to the terrain and the height above sea level. Also no rural settlements are anywhere near the property. For peace of mind as a lockup and go weekend getaway the property is safe enough.
