Cherdi''s Rose Cottage is a hidden jewel situated in the heart of Wartburg Village. It consists of a beautifully restored old homestead, set in a picturesque country garden with abundant bird life.
The main house is surrounded by six self-catering units. Each unit being unique in its own way. The decor is country cottage style with beautiful antiques and restored wooden furniture, making it feel warm and homely.
Every unit is fully self-contained with a kitchen, breakfast nook, lounge bedroom/s, bathroom/s, wi-fi, veranda and braai. Guests can enjoy the peace and serenity of country living whilst listening to the soothing sound of doves or just enjoying time out in the sparkling pool.
Guests currently have the choice of Bed and Breakfast or Self catering.
Cherdi''s is contracted to both Noodsberg, Illovo Sugar Mill and UCL to provide accommodation to their staff and/ or contractors.
Current occupancy exceeds 70% average per annum and Cherdi''s is 1 of 2 Bed and Breakfast establishments servicing the entire area from Albert Falls to Noodsberg. It is a 25-minute (30 km) drive to Pietermaritzburg and 90 Minutes (120 kms) to Durban.
After 20 years of running this special place called Cherdi''s Rose Cottage, the owner has finally decided to retire.
