The farm is situated at an altitude of 1400 metres, and snow is a regular occurrence during the winter months. Die Gat a deep ravine, forms the Northern boundary of the farm. This canyon is approximately 500 metres deep and is the source of the Dorings River. During winter months and periods of extensive rainfall a number of waterfalls form in the canyon that in itself creates spectacular scenes.

This farm offers a diverse topographical outlay of mountains, undulating hills, plateaus, deep valleys and dry rivers and with spectacular views.

There is an olive grove consisting of 321 10-year-old Frantoio / Mission, and 54 Manzinilla olive trees producing approximately 300/400 liters of olive oil per annum.

There is also 92-hectare arable dry land that is planted after sufficient winter rains with oats, lupine and barley as fodder for livestock. The perimeter of the entire farm is jackal proof and the farm is subdivided into 11 inner camps.
