LOCATED ON THE MAIN ROAD - JUST OUTSIDE OF TOWN
Port Nolloth lies about 700 km north of Cape Town while travelling on the N7, past Springbok to Steinkoph and turn west on the R 382 through the Anenous Pass.
Established as a small-vessel harbour and railway unction in 1854 for the copper- mining industry but the shallow entrance did make it unsuitable for ore carries. In 1920 diamonds were discovered around the town and less than 50 years later diamonds beds were discovered out in the Atlantic Ocean, washed down the Orange river and Port Nolloth became again fortune hunters dream again.
Fish and crayfish can be bought in season from the factory while the Nama culture can be seen at Lekkersing, inland north of Port Nolloth.
The stand is already serviced with water and electricity.
