This 779-hectare farm lies nestled in a serene, fertile valley surrounded by majestic mountain ranges. The nearest towns are Laingsburg and Ladismith.

Farming infrastructure consists of neatly maintained, mature apricot and peach orchards as well as fallow land. The area is widely renowned for its delicious fresh fruit and quality dried products.

A summary of the fruit trees: 2 hectares of apricots for the fresh fruit market 6 hectares of peaches 4 hectares of smooth skin nectarines 1 hectares of yellow tough pip peaches, and 1 hectare of plums. About 14 hectares are good quality scale, turf and sandy soils used for carrot and union seed production, as well as potatoes and other vegetables.

An abundance of quality water is the lifeblood of an irrigation farm. Water is obtained from a perennial mountain spring that supplies water to the reservoir on an elevated hill. A strong borehole, fitted with a solar pump supplies 15,000 l/hour water to the reservoir and the overflow reverts to a large earth dam. About 3 hectares are gravity fed from the reservoir under 9 bar pressure or directly from the borehole pump.

Another borehole supplies 30,000 l/hour on a 24-hour-day per full week if needed. There is also a borehole fitted with a 5Kva electrical pump that supplies 20,000 l/hour as well as a fourth borehole fitted with an electrical pump that supplies 35,000 l/hour. These pumps are powered by Eskom. All irrigation is drip and it is either pumped directly from the boreholes, or gravity fed from the earth storage dam.

There are 2 large houses boasting 5 bedrooms each. Both are situated in lush gardens with mature trees. A quaint guest cottage in the mountain enjoys good occupancy throughout the year. Two other cottages could easily be converted into guest accommodation. Adjacent to the main house is a fully fitted apartment. Farming buildings are a large shed for drying and packaging fruit, with cooler room, and the other shed is for storage. A smaller shed is used as a workshop.
