The farm is situated right next to the quant little Karoo town of Klaarstroom, 53 km from Prince Albert, 27 km from De Rust and 60 km from Oudtshoorn. The N12 provides easy access to the farm, with only 1 km drive to main house when you turned from the N12. The farm is nestled at the foothills of the Zwartberg mountains close to the entrance of Meiringspoort. The Wit River and the Groot River meanders through this farm.

The size of the farm is 4011 hectares. Currently there are two title deeds consisting of 4004 hectares of farmland and 7 hectares with registered individual residential erven. The owner is busy with a redivision of the farm which would see the two current title deeds held on the property consolidated into two new potions of 3335 hectares (outfield with the individual erven) and 676 hectares (arable land and main house). However, this registration has not been finalised yet.

The fences are in good condition and water supply is via 2 x solar pumps and a windmill. There are another 3 more boreholes which can be utilized. The veld is very well looked after as it has not been used for commercial farming.

Depending on the redivision of the farm the two new pieces of land has many possibilities. The 7-ha portion will then be part of the larger title deed. The land size will be +/- 3335 hectares. On this property will be additional 2 x 2-Bedroom houses, 240 sqm goods shed plus improvements as explained above (the 7-ha portion). Camping, game farming, cattle, 4 x 4 routes, hiking, trail running, mountain biking, just to mention a few extra possibilities.

The other title deed will then be +/- 676-ha. This land will include the improvements as set out above (4004 ha portion). Currently 50ha high quality lucerne is produced on this farm. The farm is partly fenced with Kudu-fence and the rest of the fence is in good repair. The natural veld on this farm can easily be used for game and cattle farming. The concrete reservoir (built in 1950s) provides ample of water storage to supply this farm of good quality water. The owner is in process to convert the whole farm from Eskom to solar power.

The main house is a very beautiful and well looked after home. It was built in 1812. The original part of the house has high ceilings with yellowwood beams. Specifications of the house:
